Sn3 Overland Models, Inc. Paint, weathering and modifications by ZCMR. A
profile only a mother could love!

Sn3 Overland Models, Inc., by ZCMR. A study in soot, rust and grime! Good paint,
glazing and effective weathering bring this loco to life.

The Great Depression
is showing on the flanks
of #8323. Wood car
siding generally doesn't
hold paint as well as
steel components, and
some individual boards
hold paint better than
others. That "tin"
Murphy roof seemed to
resist paint - to the
extent that the C&S
sometimes didn't seem
to bother with painting it
at all! This car has a
newly stenciled
roadname and herald
over an old paint job...
a common practice with
the end of the line in
sight.
Sn3 by Overland Models, Inc. Little things count. Note the complete sand lines
and firebox poker.
Sn3 Overland Models, Inc., by ZCMR. Notice the subtle effect created by water
flowing repeatedly over the back of the tender!

 Not every car
received new paint when
it was due... In fact #4527
is still waiting for the
"button herald" scheme it
will never receive.

The harsh Colorado
climate has been at work
on reefer #1103 as well.
