About Us
Idaho Springs, 2001

I have always been fascinated with capturing life in miniature; in fact,  I have been modeling in one form
or another for 45 years. (That would be since before I was even technically old enough to be handling
sharp objects and dangerous chemicals.) My interests have ranged from aviation to ships to buildings,
and just about everything in between.  Eventually I discovered model railroading and I have since worked
in scales ranging from N to G. For the past 20 years I have focused mainly on narrow gauge, first in Hon3
and more recently in Sn3.

My main pleasure in modeling has always been in working on locomotives and rolling stock. Over the
years I have gained proficiency in nearly all aspects of model railroad construction and repair. In
addition, I enjoy the research that is so necessary to creating a model that is credible. My educational
background is in history, and that is as much a reflection of my interests as it is a useful factor in
achieving a finished product.

In my opinion, the most accomplished modelers are true artists. They find satisfaction in creating objects
that are not only detailed, but have about them an aura of believability. It is this quality that draws us in,
and that is always my goal.

Feel free to browse these pages at will. I hope the photos I have posted will give you a sense of the
mood that motivates me and the caliber of work I do. All of the models shown are my own work, as are
the photos. (Unless otherwise noted.)  I hope that you will find something to appreciate. Please contact
me if you have any questions at all.
